Equal Proportion Potions
Upcoming TDN – Beat the Heat
For some folks on the west coast, the heat has been sweltering. Not unlike a deep-fried bowl of crisp pig ears. No, wait – wrong kind of hot. The sun has been beating down on our whining PNW brethren like Thor’s Wondrich’s Hammer on a block of ice. And barring A/C, what better way to cool off than with an ice-crusted tipple? Refreshing potions will be the theme for this week’s TDN ( What’s Thursday Drink Night? ). And only one rule this time: create a refreshing cocktail you’d crave while gazing into the peeled, flaming cantaloupe in the sky.
We’ll be giving away two jars of Colonel Tiki’s Cinnamon Syrup this week. One to the the best original cocktail and one to the newcomer who participates with the most intensity.

Mmm these all sound great! I especially like the sound of the ginger belle (I’ve never head of sweet tea vodka!) and animalito.

Amazing timing! I’ve been looking for some tasty-sounding drinks involving Canton Ginger! Thank you!!
These garnishes you made here are all fantastic, the first pic is awesome, the cuke size on the glass made me smile and especially as i know exactly where you picked it and the orange peel knot is just awesome. Then comes that cherry through a lemon peel, wow and the fat orange twist is so yummy. I wish i could invent garnishes like you.
