Some Quotes from this Week and Last

[Nathan] I gotta get the JWray from downstains. It’s with the other solvents.

[cocktailnerd] I think it’s like kissing Sazerac’s cute niece. [referencing the Cocktail a la Louisiane]

[Dr. Bamboo] I love that I’m in a chat room where both andouille and a Snow Crash reference got made within minutes of each other.

KP Question

  • Has anyone else used Zirbenz before? In what?

Themes: Tequila. Hot drinks. Drinks with non-fruit food mixers (Cucumber? Tomato? Spices? Vienna sausages?). Drinks with seltzer/soda water. “Medicinal” drinks (i.e. ones you think might be good for you for some reason- could include bitters, tea, honey). “Old family recipes”- my grandpa made a mean Tom & Jerry, and my Mom makes her own Kahluha! Drinks that reflect our own family ancestry? (i.e. liquors from the part of the world your foreparents were from).

I would like to have tequila as TDN theme sometimes.

Very Nice drink recipes. You guys ever going to do a martini day? There are some really cool ones out there I hear..using cucumber, shiso, other herbs and fruits….and of course…the vesper :) Sharon
